Mount Juliet is an 18th Century Georgian Manor House, set on its own 1,500-acre estate of lush rolling fields and woodland, ten miles from Kilkenny City. The manor echoes with the opulence of a bygone era, with period furnishings filling public areas decorated with fine antiques, paintings and china.
Each of the bedrooms at Mount Juliet have been individually designed, in keeping with the Georgian splendour of the house and are lavishly spacious, offering an exceptional level of comfort and the highest standards of luxury accommodation. Many of the rooms enjoy captivating views over the River Nore across the grounds. Stylish accommodation is also offered with informal sporting ambience in the Hunters Yard Club Rooms. Guests may also choose to stay in one of the Rose Garden Lodges, which are ideal for larger groups, families and longer stays. The Lodges are situated two minutes from the Hunters Yard and enjoy all hotel services.
The Lady Helen Dining Room offers delights all round from its panoramic views, its original detailed stucco walls and its culinary excellence. A variety of international dishes, using fresh produce, hand picked from the estate are served for a true gourmet experience, complimented by an extensive list of fine wines and spirits. The Hunters Yard complex is at the hub of golfing activities and offers a relaxing bar and superb dining option in Kendals Restaurant. Kendals is a stylish venue serving mouth-watering contemporary Irish cuisine, with a Mediterranean twist. Full wine list also available.
