Royal Portrush Valley Course

Founded in 1888 Royal Portrush Golf Club is steeped in history both golfing and otherwise, being overlooked by the ruins of Dunluce Castle. It has hosted many championships including, in 1951, the first ever Open Championship held in Ireland.

Like its sister course The Valley offers a stiff challenge and, along with other local courses, hosts the Causeway Coast Amateur Tournament, the biggest amateur tournament in the world.
