Dromoland

The 18 hole superbly maintained Dromoland Golf Course has been in existence since 1961 and was originally designed by the renowned golf architect Mr. Brook L. Wigginton of the USA. Located only a 10-minute drive from Shannon Airport it is set against the backdrop of the five star 16th Century Dromoland Castle Hotel.

The Golf Course is situated on 400 acres of unspoilt, lush wooded parkland with rolling hills, water hazards and concealed bunkers. The gently flowing River Rine becomes a feature for three of the many beautiful holes on the course. The natural terrain of the landscape poses a considerable challenge to even the lowest handicap.
